Does working out stunt your growth when your a teen?!


Question: Does working out stunt your growth when your a teen!?
right now im 5'7 and 14yrs old!. i started working out because i want to play football my freshman year!. i do bench pressing one day!. i max 150 and i weigh 136!. i rep 125!. and i do my chest!. then the next day i do clean ups!. and my arms!. (biceps and triceps)!. could these excersizes stunt my growth!. some people say it wont and some people say it will!. my doctor said i should be 6'0 about a year ago!.

1 more thing!.!.!. i started taking a protein shake called muscle milk!. is this bad for me!? my dad said its not becuase it has no creatine or glutamine i think its calledWww@Answer-Health@Com

umm!.!.u workin out wit that much weight isnt good !.!.!.try workin with ur own body weight!.!. i!.e!. pushups running!.!.dips squats etc and sports are a great way for u to stunt ur growth lol especially football umm my sis stunted her growth in SOCCER(not that much of a contact sport) by hitting her growth plate in her leg!. now shes one inch shorter in on leg!.!.cant notice it really though!.!.best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
