There are lot of nerve endings in the area!. Also the testes have little support but are considered, through evolution, to be important!. Without support they move around easy so when you hit someone in the balls there is a lot of movement, unlike when you hit someone in the arm where there is muscle and bone to support it!.

It hurts like hell, There was this craze going about my school were people would walk past you and hit in the nuts with the back of there hand, one boy got me good, it hurt like hell, The pain put me down on my knees, So the boy was standing there laughing!.

It is VERY painful! The pain is natures way or telling us that this is an area we need to keep protected! With out properly working testicles there is no chance for having children! Whats worse is that nature seemed fit to put such an important part of a males body on the out side, this helps the testicles regulate temperature for the production of sperm!. Once a guy has experienced the pain from a whack or kick to the testicles, he is more inclined to instinctively protect this area!Www@Answer-Health@Com
