Can a vasectomy come undone over time?!

Question: Can a vasectomy come undone over time!?
Answers:
A vasectomy can't come "undone"!. However, there are three known failure modes that can occur !.1% of the time!. They are all three caused by sloppy work, or tecniques on the part of the surgeon!.

The first process is called "rechannelization"!. This is when the sperm get though the scar tissue that is blocking one or both vas tubes!. This can be avoided by doing a more "traditional" vasectomy where the tubes are completely severed, and burnt!.

The second is were the surgeon mistakes a tendon for one of the vas tubes!. This is usually caught when the two semen tests are done!.

The third is where "clips" or "ties" are used to clamp shut the vas tubes!. This type of vasectomy is no longer performed in the USA!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
