I'm a guy who is 15 and my voice doesn't sound like it changed!. and like it seems like everything else has been going normal for puberty but i'm afraid my voice isn't ever going to change!. also i'm still short!. like 5'1 but i dont really mind that but its just annoying since all my friends at school tower over me and i hav to look up alot!. haha!. but like i am a swimmer!. do you think that like slowed my puberty process w/ like growing taller and stuff!? i swim like all year except for like a break for like 2 months for spring since i swim in the summer and like school year from september to around february!. i get more like a 3 month break since i start up again in toward end of May!.
So do you think that swimming as caused my growth to slow!. also i am asian and i know alot of asian people aren't very tall but i know tall asian people too!. i am adopted so i dont kno if my parents who i am related to went thru puberty early or late in life!.
but i dont want my voice like as it is now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's difficult to predict in a situation such as yours where the family history is not known!. Are there any other signs of puberty, such as pubic hair!? other body hair!? Your doctor may be able to determine where you are by assessing your Tanner maturity rating and measuring your testicular size with a set of Prader beads!. Swimming has absolutely nothing to do with your onset of puberty or ultimate height!. It's good, healthy exercise!. Keep it up!.

I was always the smallest in my class until I was a high school senior!. My voice was the last to change in my class!. It was most embarrassing!. But I grew an additional three and a half inches after I got my first drivers license at age 16!. You will likely have a similar experience, but it would be good if a doctor examine you for reassurance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
