Question: Bumps and stuff near the penis!?
I'm 19 years old and i think i might have a problem!. I've been tested for STD's and came clean about 5 years ago!. I now have these bumps in my crotch area and around the head of my penis!. I can't remember if the bumps around the head were there before i became sexually active or not!. but the bumps in the crotch area weren't!. The one's around the head are very small and white!. The ones in the crotch area aren't near the penis but on my inner thigh right near the scrotem!. Can someone help me 'cause i really don't want to freak out if it's not something serious!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe they are genital warts!? IDK go see a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, need to know more about the bumps!. Are they blister-like and do they eventually rupture that leave tender ulcers which may take 2-4 weeks to heal!? That could be herpes!. Here are pictures of herpes that may help: http://www!.revolutionhealth!.com/pages/he!.!.!.

There are 20 kinds of HPV (human papilloma virus) that can infect the genitals with warts!. The warts are usually more solid than blister-like but they come in many forms!. What you describe could be one of them!. Many cases of warts clear up on their own and the treatment if they are not giving you pain, not disfiguring, not widespread is to leave them alone!. There are treatments, but the may come back after being treated!. The virus that causes them may still be in the body even if the warts disappear!. Here's a page with some examples of what HPV lesions look like: http://www!.dermnetnz!.org/viral/genital-w!.!.!.
Here's a good picture of whitish warts: http://dermis!.multimedica!.de/dermisroot/!.!.!.

It could also be acne, in that case of course, the blisters can be popped and would quickly heal!.

The advice to see a doctor is probably very good advice!. If its herpes it can be treated but not cured and if its warts they can be treated but may reoccur and both are very contagious!.

PS--I don't think its Hirsuties papillaris genitalis which is the second option JayB, below, gives you-- since you say these bumps also appear in the crotch area, but he might be right about it being fordyce spots!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
