Slim guy with a fat belly. How to exercise?!

Question: Slim guy with a fat belly!. How to exercise!?
I've always been a skinny fella, but since I hit my mid twenties a nice little (beer!?) belly is growing!. Because I've never really had to bother with trying to burn off fat this isn't something I know much about!.

So, if I want to lose the gut, should I be doing general exercise or concentrating on the stomach exercises!? Thing is, I don't want to lose fat elsewhere- just the gut!. Advice anyone!?

No, it's not life or death but I'd rather not have my girlfriend poking me in my new belly and giggling like she currently is ;-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
