It was in my teenage and I was told by teacher!.

My son is actually very understanding and compassionate about periods!.
He's just 11, but has a 12 year old sister who hasn't started hers yet, and unless my daughter and I want a secret woman's talk, we let him ask questions about it!.
The way I look at it, if I can raise him with compassion and understanding about how males AND females mature, then it will only be a good thing for him once he is a man and has a wife!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I found out when I was 10 by my teachers when they taught us sex ed!. I was grossed out, but I was more curious about it like, I wondered if it hurt like a cut, or if they could bleed to death and why they bled!. But I didn't really freak out!. The guys I know just don't like to talk about it, but they aren't immature about it!. But I guess it depends on your age lol!. We boys can be stupid!.

my brothers were really chill about it!. they asked me questions sometimes but i just answered them lightly, never really giving a lot of details!. now they just think 'oh **** she's pmsing' and stuff!. its not all that bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
