Question: Taking female hormones at 15!?
I'm a 15 year old male (physically) and want to take female hormones!. I'm sure I want to do this, but my parents are Catholic and I don't know how they'll react if I ask them to take me to a doctor!. So I figure I have two options, find a doctor that won't/can't tell them, or self-medicate!. I'll probably be able to hide boobs and everything from them for two years until I move out to college!. How well do they work redistributing fat and everything to female areas (butt, legs, etc!.)!? How long would it take to grow normal sized boobs!? How long before I'd be unrecognizable as a male!? I figure if I start this young I should be good, right!? So how can I go about getting/hiding the hormones!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No doctor will administer drugs of that nature to a minor probably even WITH parental consent!. The truth is you're going to be a man for a long time!. Even after you're a legal adult, you will have to undergo years of counseling and gender reassignment orientation before any doctor would consider an operation that extreme!.
I suggest you do some serious research on the Internet to see what all is really involved!. After all, this isn't a girl getting a vanity boob job!. This is changing your entire life and the way you a perceived in the world!.
I saw a very interesting documentary on post-op and pre-op patients!. I don't know the name of it, but with a little hunting, you might find it on Netflix!.
In the meantime, you are very young!. You might want to consider seeing what it's like to be a boy before you decide to become a girl!. I'm not trying to discourage you!. But once they lop it off there's no going back!.
Oh, and this advise is coming from a mature gay man who would never consider making gay pokes at you!. But in my life time I have encountered everything from sexually confused or curious youths to very feminine gay men who swear they are a woman trapped in a mans body!. That is an extremely serious direction to go in your life -especially at your age and since you are already manufacturing testosterone by the buckets!!!!!!!!!

You have to go for psychological evaluation and counseling -not to mention all the opposition since everyone will deem you too immature yet!!!
To add to this ,hormones are not enough at this point unles you only want boobs and the other secondary female characteristics!!
You will need a few operations to change your hardware!!!

I've personally had dreams of being the opposite gender and have even thought of changing but I'd advice you to wait a little while and think about it deeply before doing anything!. There aren't many real doctors that will give you hormone enhancers without consent of parents!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is no doctor in the world that will prescribe women hormones to a 15 year old!. i doubt if they would do it until your 25!. then you have to go through counseling, mental evaluations etc!. before they will even let you start doing things like changing your sex!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, i used to dream i was a guy!. and i would just out of nowhere go shout to my mom "why do i feel like i should be a guy!?" but i grew up and i realized that im meant to be what i am and i am straight and VERY happy being a female!.
you shoudlnt change yourself! especially at such a young age!. Your meant to be who you are! If you want to be gay then be gay!. If you want to be a woman so you can be a lesbian then thats odd!.
