Well the shaft and the cut are stitched together and that heals just like any other wound!.No problem:had it done for medical reasons at age 23:after 3 weeks all functioned as new again!.

Are you serious!? Surely you didn't get circumcised without finding out how it heals prior to undergoing the procedure!. The inner skin which remains after the cutting is done is stitched to what remains of the outer skin!. These stitches may be of the self-absorbing type, which dissolve on their own, or they may have to be removed by a doctor!.

It'll take a couple of weeks!. If they botched it, you can bring suit against them!. You will find the skin rather tight (they almost always remove too much) and showering will be painful if you let the water hit the glans directly!.

Call your Urologist and ask him!. He got paid!. didnt he give you any instructions!? Your stitches should come out after 10 to twelve days even if they are the dissolvable type or you will have tunnel marks!. dissolvable sutures dont always fully disolve!.
