Have you had BPH surgery, how was it and did it fix the flow?!

Question: Have you had BPH surgery, how was it and did it fix the flow!?
Doc has said I need surgery to fix my reduced ability to urinate!.
I hated the attitude of the specialist who told me "After the op, you'll feel like you're trying to piss razor blades!"
What kind of incentive is that to permit urinary tract excavation!?
I have not met up with anyone who has had this surgery for a candid explanation as to what to expect and with what kind of benefit if any!?
I need help to make the decision to go for it!. Can you assist!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anthony- Having a TUR (TransUrethral Resection) for your BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy) is not a pleasant thought BUT you have no other reasonable choice!. The prostate gland surrounds the urethra which carried urine from the bladder, through the penis, to outside!. With BPH you probably cannot fully empty the bladder now when you pee!. The urine that remains behind in your bladder then helps bacteria to grow!. The infection that results can then spread up the ureters to the kidneys and do serious damage!. You simply must "open up the plumbing" by a TUR to allow the bladder to completely empty!.
It sounds like your specialist (a urologist) was too insensitive in the way he told you the truth!. In doing a TUR, a small tube in inserted through the urethra of the penis into the bladder!. A wire in the instrument is internally heated and used to "chip out" many small pieces of prostate from around the bladder neck where the prostate is located!. The carved out surfaces bleed for a couple of days (reddish-tinged urine) and do produce sharp pains when urinating past the raw surfaces left behind!. As healing progresses, with the use of some pain medicine, the "razor blade" feeling will disappear and you'll once again be able to fully empty your bladder each time you pee!. Be brave!. It's worth the temporary discomfort!. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is a sensitive area both physiologically and psychologically, so I can sympathise with your ambivalence to proceed or not with surgery!.
Urologist are notoriously known for their rough approach to the procedures and their lack of empathy, sort of callus characters!.

There are several medical treatment that may be suitable for your problem!. Surgery may cause some unwanted side effects as well!.
