Question: Guys getting sympathy pms!?

i know guys dont actually have pms and YES i know what it stands for!. i know guys dont get a period!.!.!.but i also heard something LIKE this about pregnancy!.!.!.like when a girl is pregnant, her hubby/bf will feel pain/symptoms similar to hers!.!.!.idk though! if it is true!.!.is it common!?

Personally, I have experienced sympathy pains, which is what you're refering to and I've done a little research, so I think I can help out!. Well, for one, yes, sympathy pains exist!. Sympathy pains are the natural reaction of the human body in response to seeing someone else's pain, thus the name "sympathy!." They are caused by mirror neurons which mimic actions perceived by the eyes!. For example, if you see someone reach out to pick up an apple, the mirror neurons, copy that pattern of motion and send it to the motor neurons when you decide to piuck up the apple!. This also goes for emotions, too!. If you see someone very happy, chances are, this will brighten up your mood!. Unfortunately, it also applies to pain, so if you see someone get kicked in the groin, you won't necessarily feel the same exact pain, but you may feel a discomfort!. As for it being common, I'm not so sure, however, I have noticed that some boyfriends/husbands will experience period-like pains (bloating, cramps, etc!.) when their girlfriend/wife go through their period!.
