Answers:
Ah!. Your problem is that you are in America, where it is considered not "normal" to have a foreskin!. In America, and nations that are strongly Jewish and Muslim, circumcision is common, and any kids growing up in these places will think it's totally normal for guys to have no foreskin!. Since not many people here in America are uncircumcised, educators simply don't talk about it at all, simply not even thinking about whether people are curious about it!. In places like Europe, Australia, and many, many other places, however, circumcision is wildly unpopular, and near all the guys there are uncircumcised, and so most people you meet from these areas will be uncut, like the Italian boy you've met!. Worldwide, about 80% of men still have their foreskin, meaning that if you've a foreskin, you're in the worldwide majority, it's just that there is so much negative attention drawn to the foreskin in America that no one here would even think that way!. I myself am uncircumcised, and downright proud of it, and lucky too, as I was born in the 80s, where circumcision was fairly prevalent!. It's not so rare as you think, so you can feel a bit better about yourself now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those with foreskins are natural, normal and whole!.

Those circumcised are mutilated, scarred and partial!.

80% of the males in the world are intact; this is the normal state of being!. Circumcision is male genital mutilation and destroys sexual sensitivity and sexual ability!. It makes the penis smaller, also!.

Which do you think feels and functions better;

An intact, whole natural and normal penis!?
or
A scarred, mutilated and partial penis!?

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is out of ignorance:every boy is born with a foreskin:it used to be normal in the 70ties an 80ties to have them removed after birth!.
Only some religions say that men should be circumcised:like Muslims!.
And it is a personal preference to have it done or a medical reason, when you suffer from extreme phimosis(to tight foreskin)
So don't worry:you are not mutilated by a stupid tradition:all you need to do is keep it clean!.

!.!.!. um I am a bit confused!.!.!. are you saying that because I am Japanese I have foreskin!?!

Generally the foreskin is removed by a process called circumcision!. I was circumcised when I was an infant!.!.!. so was my brother!.

To answer your question!.!.!. the reason why this is not taught is because the subject of circumcision is simply not talked about!. It is assumed that most boys are circumcised!. Though it is not forced; rather, it is an option!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree!.!.!.

I'm circumcised and thought that was the way I was born for a long time!. I didn't even know there was such a thing as circumcision until I was 11!.

I remember seeing my friend's uncircumcised penis in the shower at Scout camp when I was 11!. I pointed to his foreskin and said, "What's that!?"

He thought I meant what's his penis!. He answered, "What do you think it is!?"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most white American males are circumcised (about 85%)!. Several other countries also circumcise and it is becoming more and more popular as it is much healthier! An uncircumcised male is 60% more likely to aquire STDS and HIV from infected partners!. I was circumcised at 18 and would do it again in a heartbeat! There is nothing good about being uncircumcised! Circumcision also makes hygiene a much easier chore, makes the penis look much better and from first hand experience makes sex 100% better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

John!.!.!. what he is saying is people should have a choice about their body!. All of those things you list are reversible!. Perhaps, if you could somehow make them permanent AND perform the operation on infants that would be a closer analogy!.

Also, there foreskin isn't a separate piece of skin or "tip" that is removed, it is part of the shaftskin!.!.!. essentially the part in-between the remaining skin above and below the scar line !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

everyone is born with a foreskin!. some are circumcised at birth and even up to adulthood for a variety of reasons

some are done for religious reasons
some are done for medical reasons
some are done for cosmetic reasons
some are done for personal reasonsWww@Answer-Health@Com

do not generalize!.!.!. a lot of people who value hygiene cuts off there foreskin tip!.!.!. cause having a foreskin can filter the germs from the urine!.!.!. the Philippines has a tradition to cut off the foreskin 'cause anyone who doesn't is considered a gay!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uhm!. Some kids do not get circumcised at birth, it's just a weird thing that happens, I'm not sure why it happens!. But I guarantee that italian kid is not the only one who hasn't been uncircumcised!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not everyone is circumsized or uncircumsized!. It depends all on the parents and sometimes the culture you live in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What is the question!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

So eric w you think we should leave it the natural way and not cut the umbilical cord!? you think we shouldn't cut our hair!? you think we shouldn't shave!? you think we shouldn't cut our toe nails!? you think we shouldn't wear clothes!? It's just another thing that people do, though not on such a daily basis, but I'm circumcised (I asked my mom to be sure =P) and I have all the sensitivity I want and as for making it bigger, I think an uncircumcised would look smaller at the tip and more skinny instead of large and in charge!! Haha!! Rhymes!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What Oleander said!

To John: Hair, fingernails and toenails are not flesh! You can cut that stuff off because it always grows back and it doesn't hurt!. The umbilical cord is supposed to be cut off because if it wasn't then you would still be attached to your mother! Those thing have no nerves!. A foreskin is actual flesh with senation! You are not supposed to cut that off! Once you remove that, you are removing thousands of nerves and a protective sheath that is there for a reason!. Oh and circumcision 15 sq!. inches of skin which actually makes the penis smaller in girth that it would be normally!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the majority of men in the world have their foreskins attached to their penises!. circumcision is only done in a few limited areas or by a couple religions!. But even in those areas cutting off the foreskin is falling out of favour slowly!. Most of Europe including th eUK do not circumcize nor is it common in Canada!. The US and phillipines still do it a lot as do some parts of Africa!.

Problem with information is it is not properly circulated to all people!. Education teaches lots about math, science, literature, ecoonomy and even geography but rarely, if ever, will penises and foreskin get mentioned!. As a result no one really learns abotu circumcision and other rituals in other countries until they get out in the world and discover these things for themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
