Is it better to workout on an empty belly or full belly?!

Question: Is it better to workout on an empty belly or full belly!?
My goal is to get the 6 pack and the way I workout is by working out on an empty belly, i do a lot of sit ups for about 30 minute or an hour, sometimes more!. My eating style is drinking a lot of water, and only getting one meal a day, (eating salads, or subways sandwiches) which my doctors told me was a good eating style I am willing to do anything to get to the shape that I want to be in!.

So i was wondering if it was best to workout on full belly or empty belly!? which way do u believe is best in order to get to the shape that I want to be in!?

Thanks for the tips and help, that if anyone answers lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Not on a full stomach, but you shouldn't be hungry either; eat about an hour before you workout!. And you shouldn't be eating/drinking simple sugars (eg!. juice, pop) just before your workout - you'll have energy for a little while, but will lose it all as if you've hit a wall and don't want to exercise anymore!. Trust me, try it once and you'll hate the feeling haha!.

I disagree with Ben!. For me, it's only cardiovascular exercise (eg!. soccer) that makes me lose my appetite!. For weight lifting I'm hungry after a workout, which is a very good thing; your body needs nutrients to help recover from the workout (now is when you should have your simple sugars!!)!.

Also, if you want to pack on muscle you'll definitely need to be eating much more than you currently do!. Read the post above about the guy who eats 6 meals a day!. That's what you need to do - not huge meals, but multiple smaller ones!. Good luck!.!.!. msg if you have any questions!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it depends if your trying to lose weight!. Exercise makes you lose your appetite!. So if you exercise on an empty stomach chances are you wont want to eat after working out unless your really really starved!. Never work out with a full stomach it may cause you to throw up!. Working out on a normal stomach is just right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should have a meal a couple of hours before exercising but never immediatley before exercise!. blood shunting occurs after a large meal which means that the blood supply is redirected to the digestive system to help with digestion exercising at this time can cause sickness dissiness and fainting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's foolish to workout with full belly!. Always workout with an empty belly!. The best time to workout is when you're not busy!. Most people workout in the morning, because they want to get it over with, and have the rest of the day free!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If I have a full belly and workout, I will puke in less than five minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a slight empty belly, full stomach will cause irritation while doing the excercise!.!.!. and wow!.!.!. nice effort thereWww@Answer-Health@Com

its best to eat a pig that drives a tram a 4 man rat bobsleigh team them a guinea pig ice dancer feel bad about it then work out for 45 seconds then danceWww@Answer-Health@Com

My PT is a natural body building champion!. He eats 6 meals a day and drinks lots of water!. If you build muscle at the rest of your body, burning off the belly fat is a lot easier!.!.!. and you needn't do quite so many crunches since you strengthen your core by doing lunges, squats, deadlifts, good mornings, upright rows!.!.!. etc etc!.

I never eat before I workout!. I have a banana or something and a pre-workout protein shake but that's all!.!.!. then I have a post workout protein shake!.!.!. and then I eat some carbs and protein about an hour later!.

My PT!.!. eats a lot of salads!.!.!. always eats protein with his carbs, never eats more than 100g of carbs at any one time!.!.!. and is careful with portion size!. He eats a lot of meals per day so that his body has nutrients continuously and therefore his body is less likely to cling on to its fat stores!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
