By nocturnal do you mean working a night shift!.
I have been working a night shift for 7 years and I'm still alive, of good health and enjoying life!.
The trick i find is do everything in reverse to day workers, get out of bed 1 hour before you start and when you get home then eat you big meal, watch some TV etc etc, and at weekends still get up through the night and sleep through the day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, it is actually not good for you!. there has been lots of studies, it causes depression and other physical health problems!. I used to work night shift, and even when I got adequate sleep, I was still really irritable and slightly depressed, it just didn't feel right!.

When I was experiencing my busiest time in college, I went nocturnal and it worked out!. I found that I am more concentrated late at night and early in the morning!. I figured that as long as I got 5-6 hrs of sleep per day I'd be ok!. My nocturnal routine involved going to bed after dinner and waking up around midnight!. Worked fine, but it was a lonely year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, it distorts your normal biological sleep cycles!. Nonetheless, it is still important to get the necessary amount of sleep even if that means being nocturnal!.

I am mostly nocturnal!. I sleep around 4 AM and wake up around 8 AM!. Being nocturnal isn't bad for you!. It's just lonely sometimes lol!.

Doesn't sound that bad actually, all you do during the day is work, so if you sleep during the day then you will only be awake for the night!.

We're not nocturnal animals!.!.!. so you might develop vitamin D (calcium) deficiencies or you won't produce melatonin correctly, and you could also be very depressed due to lack of sunlight!.!.!. but there are supplements!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I work a lot of 3rds!.!.!.!.have been for yrs!. now!. I haven't had any adverse effects!.!.!. so I would say as long as you get enough sleep don't worry bout it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
