Circumcision question...?!

Question: Circumcision question!.!.!.!?
I had my son circumsized when he was about a month old (the doctor said to wait until then)!. I decided to do it because of my and my husbands family history of males getting infections!. Well!.!.!.the doctor hit a blood vessel and wasn't able to get all the skin off!. There's still a little there but said it may go away as my son get's older!. Should I be concerned about it!? I don't want him to be made fun in the locker room when he gets older!. Do you think it will get better with time!? He's three months old now!.!.!.I know it may take a few years if it does get better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should get a second opinion, but my experinece has been to wait!. it takes time to heal and it will grow as your baby grows!. Anyway no revision should be done within six months of a circumcision!. Dont worry so much, go see the doctor and enjoy the baby

I have never heard of this before!. I think you should get a second opinion no matter how much you trust your first doctor!.There should be no large blood vessels in the area involved!. He may have some structural variation that may need checking (placing of urethra, etc)!.
If some correction is needed you are better off doing it sooner rather than later!. If a follow up procedure is needed you should have it done before permanent long term memory kicks in!. Most people do not start getting permanent memories until after three age of three years!. I don't think he would like to have a memory of surgery on his penis for the rest of his life!. Adolescents and men fret too much about there penises as it is, don't give him something real to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't remove anymore, often parents get concerned and have it redone to fit their expectations of normal, however doing more can lead to serious problems, it's bad enough the you harmed him in this way the first timeWww@Answer-Health@Com

i dont know why but i was left with a scar around mine when i was circumsized and it is circular and it is slighlty abrasied!. I do not think that it is harmfull but get it checked outWww@Answer-Health@Com

The Dr can always fix it if it looks weird ,but first see how it will look like in a few years!.
Do not panic over this please:he ain't gonna go to school yet,is he!?

Another botched circumcision (is there any other kind!?)

This is another reason that male genital mutilation should be illegal, as female genital mutilation is in the US!.

What are you going to do!? Take him in for another surgery and further damage his penis and sexual ability because there will be even more nerve damage, if you do!.

It seems to me that you should consider bringing a malpractice suit against the butcher who was incompetent and damaged your son's penis even more than it would have been in a normal circumcision!.

Your son may need further treatment in adult life, and you could put the money aside to allow for the possibility of psychiatric care when he learns how he's been damaged!.

You risked his life, his sexuality and his emotional well-being for an unnecessary procedure that mutilated his penis!.
He should be entitled to compensation!.

In my case, the circumcision destroyed so much sensitivity due to nerve damage that it destroyed my sex life!.

I shall never forgive my parents, and the doctors who perpetrated this on me!. My own father was intact; he should have known better!. Unfortunately it was years before I discovered what was wrong, and far too late to bring suit against the quack and the hospital!.

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
