Bodybuilding: Why won't my chest grow?!


Question: Bodybuilding: Why won't my chest grow!?
I have been trying to break through a barrier with my chest!. I have stumped at 280lbs as one rep max!. I tried a few programs and I can't seem to get any more mass or strength to my chest!. Please do not answer with steroids as a solution!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are quite a few things I could tell you, but I'm sure you've heard most of it, so I'll skip right to it!. First of all, without enough calories, you won't grow!. If you're on a set diet, you may want to think about taking it up a notch (if you plan on growing)!. With that, the answer to your problem is probably going to be negative reps!. For you, you should probably have close to 325 or maybe a little less and figure out the reps on your own, always CHANGING IT UP!. Also, I don't know if you squat or not, but one thing that is important for body growth is squatting to failure!. It forces your body to release more growth hormone, which is what you need to grow!. If you start doing it, I bet your bench max will go up 20 pounds in 2 weeks or less!. I can't promise it will be that much, but you have to understand how important squatting to failure is!. (I would assume you know what that is!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you need to eat other forms of protein such as beef or other animal meat!. So many people turn to powders but it only makes sense that if you want more mass on your body you have to be giving your body more mass by eating it!. All you mentioned were programs, but what are you eating and how much are you eating!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have reached a plateau!.!.!.your muscles in your chest refuse to grow!.!.!.all I can suggest is giving your chest a 5 month break from benching!.!.!.just maintain what you have!.!.!.so your chest can recover!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
