Just simply lie on the floor, you dont get as much movement but it is still if not better than a regular bench press!. I found this out in one of the mens health mags, since you are a beginner you I recommend you check out this site www!.musclesecretsrevealed!.com it shows you how to build muscle by well known expert in the industry Jason Ferruggia and a list of "muscle building sins" you can download for free!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Something that is at least a foot high and can support your entire torso would be best!. You can attempt to do it on the floor but you will not be able to bring your arms down by your side!. I had the same problem but I have what is called a step for this aerobic exercise and although it is used like a stair stepper, I lay on it and it works great!. You can purchase one a Sports Authority!. Or order it online at Cathe!.com

Good luck and hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have a narrow table you could use that!. The problem of trying to do a bench press without a bench is that you can't bring you arms down far enough if you are just laying on the floor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can just lay on the floor and do it you wont get the same work out but its better than nothingWww@Answer-Health@Com

You could do a dumbell bench press!. Which is where you lie flat on your back and raise them up and bring them together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

without the bench, all u have to do is press :PWww@Answer-Health@Com
