When does the skin begin to retract on its own around 2 yrs old or around puberty!?
One of my son's doctors said it'll retract by two , the other said puberty since it's the equivalent to a female's "time of the month"!. Neither of them have any personal experience w/ this subject so that's why I'm asking you!.

It depends on the guy!. In most boys (like 80-90%), the foreskin is retractable by 3-years-old!. Some guys, however, are unable to retract their foreskins until almost the end of puberty!.
Around age 3, you can gently see if the foreskin retracts!. If it does, then just gently pull it back, exposing the glans (penis head), and wash the exposed area with water and a mild scentless soap!. Strong and/or scented soaps can irritate the area, which can become unpleasant!.
If it doesn't retract, don't force it back!. Just washing the outside of the foreskin and penis is enough!. You may want to check maybe once a month or so to see if it's retractable, but in some boys, you just have to be patient with the foreskin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it should be fine to put back to clean while taking a bath/shower whenever now!. mines been able to retract for as long as i can remember!.
oh, and don't listen to these people saying circumsized is better, it doesn't take all that much effort to clean it once a day, it takes all of half a minute and its the way the penis was meant to be, not mutilated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well mine did when i was about 11, I was playing about with it and suddenly it popped out when i pulled the skin back!. I had a bit of a shock lol but after that it was ok to pull back (it was tighter before it 'popped'
you should advise him when hes old enough to keep it clean by retracting it all he can without pain

it retracts when you want it to just gotta start tugging it back lol,
i know however it definately isnt as late as puberty as i remember me and my mates used to pull it back in primary school thinking it was funny so mustve been atleast 10 then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wait there was a time when I couldn't retract it!?
I remember retracting it when I was pretty young to clean it!.
It doesn't retract every "time of month" lol I can pull it back whenever I want to!.

holly is so wrong, from reading books on it, it may not retract till a bit into puberty, doing it early then it naturally releases, could damage the foreskin leading to problems later on with phimosisWww@Answer-Health@Com
get him circumsized !! stop worrying about it retracting and cut it off !! If he gets infections and or S!.T!.D!.'s from being "intact" I hope he blames you !!Www@Answer-Health@Com
