Why do i have blood in my semen?!

Question: Why do i have blood in my semen!?
I searched before i made this question, and found others that had traces of blood!. But my problem is a little different!. For the last few days it's been entirely dark red!. I know it's not an STD, and there's no pain with it or anything!. Another problem is i don't have any health coverage right now, and no money to pay to be in the hospital!. So my question is, will i be ok if i just leave it and hope it goes away!? I'm worried because the fact that it's always dark red makes me think there might be internal bleeding!. But so far it's only been a few daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

It could be caused by several different things, some of which depend on your age!. While it can mean something serious, it can also be related to something like a urological problem, an infection, or it could even be benign!.
If healthcare isn't available for you right now, I'd at least schedule an appointment at a free clinic - you can find one in your area (or within a reasonable driving distance) by searching online!. They provide the exam, and medications (if necessary) for little or no cost, depending on your income!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are in USA then you can get seen at a hospital under their charity scheme, so go and get checked out!.
It could be bleeding from a torn blood vessel in your penis or it could be prostatitis an infection of your prostate!.
Whatever, you need to get it checked out urgently to know what it is and what treatment is needed!.
It is unlikely to be internal bleeding it is most likely an infection but go to the hospital and let the professionals sort this out!.

i think going to yahoo answers with this was actually a good choice considering your situation,
(wow the blood thing makes me sick) sorry,
ummm!.!.!. i would do more searching on the web,
find sites where you can give your symptoms and they tell you what might be going on,
(i used a site like that for dogs, found out what was wrong with his leg!.)
i'm sure there's some good ones for people and sex organ issues!.

If you only see blood when you ejaculate, and not when you urinate, then the problem is probably your prostate!. If so, then it could be something minor like BPH, or something serious like prostate cancer!. If you are over the age of 40, then I would be even more concerned!.

I wouldn't take the risk!. Go into the ER as soon as you can!. You'll get free treatment there even without insurance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah I would go to the hospital NOW!. it sounds like it could be serious!. if it was just traces I would not be a worried but it sounds like you are just "spraying" blood!. I would be VERY concerned!. Just tell them to bill you and pay it later but get it checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answer
Blood in ejaculated semen (hemospermia) is relatively uncommon and rarely serious!. In most cases, the cause can't be determined, and the problem goes away without treatment!. However, known causes of blood in semen include inflammation, infection, and blockage or injury to the prostate gland or seminal vesicles!. Also, following a prostate biopsy, it is common to have blood-tinged semen for four or five subsequent ejaculations!.

A doctor may be able to determine the cause of blood in semen based on:

Physical examination
Urine tests (urinalysis)
Blood tests
Treatment is directed at the underlying cause when possible!. If a man notices blood in his semen, he should consult his doctor!.
