Question: My boy has an uncircumcised penis and I don't know what advice to give him on cleaning!.!?
My 8 yr old is uncircumcised!. His dad is circumcised so doesn't know what advice to give him on cleaning it etc!.!.!.
Does he have to stretch the skin to avoid it ripping as he grows or anything!?
He washes himself now but I don't want to teach him wrong!. I tell him to pull it back a little to clean it properly!. It is an embarressing question but one that has to be asked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell him to pull back the skin as far as he can get it without pain of course!. then tell him to wash it with soap!. Make sure to tell him to rinse or the soap will build up!. And that's all that you need to tell him and make sure he does it!. Then make sure to tell him that if he doesn't it will smell and get infected and he will have to go to the doctor!. That way you are sure to make him wash well!. Don't feel embarrassed!. Lots of mothers go through this!. I am uncircumcised and told my sons how to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
first of all its not a stupid question and its just like anything else soap and water will take care of it let him do the pulling back and don't rush him in the bath, and don't take him to get a circumcision due to the fact you uncomfortable in talking to him about it!.70 percent of the men on earth are not circumcised !. so lets help your son not just cut his junk up!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
all you have to tell him is when he bathes to pull it back, he'll know how to do it, and tell him to wash it and then rinse it!. that's all, and do maybe wipe it once and a while after peeing, but that can go for circumsized and not cirsumsized, its just hygene and stops it from burning!.

ok most of that is ok except the bit about stretching the skin!. no he doesnt need to strech it he will be pulling it enuf in a couple of years ;)!. pulling it and clean off anything that looks like it souldnt be there!. not cleaning all the time wont mean it will get infecteted relax dont scare himWww@Answer-Health@Com
Instruct him to GENTLY pull the skin ALL THE WAY back, wash thoroughly and gently, then rinse carefully!. He needs to learn that leaving soap under the skin will cause irritation!.

Pull back gently, use mild soap or body wash!. Towel dry or sun if it's warm enough!. Clean it daily!. Smegma build up is more to do with poor diet, but he's got a few years to go before that happens, if it does!.

It's actually really simple!. I never had ANY problem, and i am 21!. Just clean it with a lil soap or something when in the shower, make sure its washed off!. But what you told him is good!. Just pull it back and do the cleaning!. thats all there is too it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

While it's likely that by age 8, his foreskin is completely separated from his head, that's not guaranteed to be the case!. (At birth, the skin and head are fused together like a fingernail to a finger!.) After a few years, that bond dissolves, but if he can't retract it all the way, that's fine, give it more time!.
Just tell him to pull it back as far as he can comfortably do!. A gentle rub to dislodge the dead skin, like he does between his toes, is all that's needed!. Soap is a good idea, but a good rinse is more important!. (And certain soaps can irritate delicate places, as a woman you know this, I'm sure!)
