No, it is not true!. It was thought to be true until DNA tests could be used!. I went to a dermatologist as I had this problem, went through the DNA routine and male pattern baldness was passed through my father in this case!. I was confused as my mothers male relatives all had hair and my fathers family did not!. I could not understand why I was losing hair unless it was an illness I did not know I had!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, all the brothers on my moms side are bald & my brother at 31 yrs is beginning to get thinning hair!. My fathers side everybody has a great head of hair but unfortunatly for my brother he got my moms hair genes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
