Who told you that most doctors perform vasectomies on men over 40!?
I had one at 21!. My girlfriend had her tubes tied at 25!. Neither of us have children!. It is called being child free!. I know a lot of child free, and one child men under 30 that had vasectomies!. Don't let clueless people tell you that it is strange!.
You only have to be 18!. That is true in all 50 states, Canada, and in most of the industrialized world!.
As I stated before, I had my vasectomy at age 21!. I am now 42, and could not be happier with my choice!.
Vasectomies have been around for 100 years!. Male birth control is brand new!. Male birth control has a lot of side effects like low testosterone and depression!. Not a good plan!.
Oh, and to answer your question, there are two reasons:
1!. The have their personal morals!.

Vasectomies can be performed at any age over 18 ( or maybe less if there's parents' consent, I'm not sure) I think they might try to talk you out of it for a while because your still pretty young but they will do it!. Also, you can always have it reversed and it'll work just fine or freeze some sperm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, because!.!.!.you have felst this way since you were 11 and now you are 24!.!.!.do you have any idea how likely it is you will change your mind!.!.!.!.what you feel at 11 and 24 and all the ages in between is very likely to change!.!.!.!.what if they give you one and then you fall in love, get married and want to have a family!. Just because a vacectomy is reversible doesn't mean that it is always reversible or fully reversible!.!.!.it is possible it would cause you to not be able to reproduce if you ever chang eyour mind!.

Did you know that male birth control pills are coming out soon! Maybe your doctor thinks you should wait a couple of years until they are approved by the FDA!. Then, if, you ever change your mind, you can stop taking pills!. Or wait until you are older and get the surgery!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would find another doctor!. the two i visited before mine both informed me of what would happen, advised me to be sure, and then left it to me!. neither of them ever hesitated to do it if i chose to!. a buddy of mine had his done in his 20's!. you just have a bad doc in my opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
At 24, you're still extremely young!. You aren't really absolutely sure you'll NEVER want kids!. So, many doctors feel as though you may someday change your mind and wouldn't want to risk that!. It's better to be safe than sorry!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
