i don't suggest shaving your pubic hair off completely because you will gain A LOT of irritation on your pubic hair and you will be totally uncomfortable!
what i suggest is to just trim the hair!. that way you are not completely hairless but you are not overly hairy! its a happy medium!

Some shaving, some trimming!. My wife prefers it this way and lets me know if I become negligent!. I'm willing to oblige to an extent!. She would prefer I shave my scrotum, but I refuse!. I've tried that, but it drives me crazy when I try to sleep because they tend to stick to my legs and I can't stand that!.

because it gives it a clean look, but be warned it will get thick!.
