Creatine? Protein? When? With? How?!


Question: Creatine!? Protein!? When!? With!? How!?
I have been taking Creatine Monohydrate with water, and taking it approx!. 1 hour before workout followed by a protein shake after workout!.
I mix creatine with water and chug it!. Im not sure if im doing this right, or taking it at the right time!?

i would reccomend you take creatine after your workout in your shake, this is because i have read that alot of people can be affected negatively if they take it before and it doesnt help with their energy at all!. mix about 5grams of it with your whey protein and take it that way!. the post workout shake is crucial and people mix in all sorts i personally dont take creaitne anymore as it did nothing for me or my energy levels, so in my post workout shake i mix in some ultra fine scottish oats and 5g of L-glutamine!.

after your workout there is a window of opportunity for your diet!. your muscles and body is drained and so anything you consume is more likely to be absorbed and taken in by the muscles, this is when creatine is most affective and should have your muscles recharged and full of energy before your next workout!. just read that link it has some of the best information i have found on taking creatine!.

also answer below is good ethyl ester is better absorbed in comparison to monohydrate, although i bought some creatine ethyl ester and tried it in my PWO shake and just couldnt handle the taste it is very strong in taste but the smell is almost non existant so its abit of a shocker!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stop takin creatine mono hydrate and switch to a better absorbing form of creatine like ethly ester or di mallate!. With mono hydrate there is usaully a loading phase where you take 2-5 servings daily for a week (depends on the brand)!. After that you have to take 1-2 servings for the rest of the cycle!. Creatine mono hydrate will also give make you bloated (excess water weight)!. Also read the bottle next time before taking a supplement because there is always a dosing guide/ instructions!.

Whey post work out is good!. Mix it in skim milk, if you, can to get some a source of carbs as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
