Question: Why is the pubic region generally darker than your skin color!?

I'm going to say it is because as we evolved and less hair to protect us it's so if we were in the sun we wouldn't damage our reproductive organs so it is darker pigmented to protect from the sun also why we are hairy down there!.

This depends very much on a person's ethnic background!. In white people this is rarely the case, but in darker skinned people it happens more!.
As to why, I am not sure anyone knows!. It may indeed be some form of sexual advertising to draw attention to the genital area in darker skinned people!. Certainly a red glans would be very visible in the darker area and highlight an erection!. It would be interesting to know if this has a positive effect in darker, hairy animals like monkeys and apes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
