My growth spurt / adulthood was very late... Ritalin responsible? or genetics?!

Question: My growth spurt / adulthood was very late!.!.!. Ritalin responsible!? or genetics!?
I am 24 TWENTY FOUR and I still grew almost one inch from about age 22!. I didnt know this was possible!.!.!. and my looks/metabolism arent changing the way most 24 year olds have by now!.!.!.

The only thing I can think of is either genetic makeup laying out a slower chronological biological time clock for growth and aging, OR could Methylphenidate (Ritalin) given to me in moderate doses from age 5-16 have had some responsibility for this!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I experienced a late puberty very similar to your's!. Ritalin and drugs like it were not available when I was your age!. I think some of us are just on a later cycle than others!. I don't think there's enough research data to say whether drugs like Ritalin do or do not affect one's puberty cycle!. I was in my mid-20's before I completely finished developing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

any kind of drugs can effect your body and especially your teenage growth!. it is though not unusual for guys to continue to grow into their mid 20's!. The drugs you were given growing up may have had an effect, but certainly nothing you do now will change that!.

It's genetics and not the Ritilin!. Be happy partner and love your life and yourself!. Everything is cool!. I took Ritilin and another one of those drugs for a long time and they had no adverse effects!. I believe the other one was Concerta!. You're good to go be happy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
