What are the most effective type of pushups!?
How are clap pushups and finger pushups effective!?
How many pushups should I do regularly!.

Easy question to answer!.

Pushups are an excellent exercise!. They work your chest, triceps, lats, and even your abs!.

Begin slowly!.

Start out doing 3 sets of 20 pushups!.
Then after 1st week do 3 sets of 30 pushups
Then after the 2nd week try to do 3 sets of 40 pushups!.

Then after 3rd week set a goal for 50 reps for 3 sets and keep moving up in reps!.

Clap, diamond, and finger pushups work a little more on your stamina but if you are not careful with them you could hurt yourself!. I think regular pushups are more effective because they incorporate a safer stance, utlizes a fuller range of movement that hits all the muscle fibers, and protects your joints at the same time!.

Here is how you want to perform the correct pushup:

The best results come from pushups with hands spaced shoulder width apart, feet 12 inches apart with toes on the floor, and back straight!. Go down to touch your nose to the floor keeping your back straight then push back up again!.(Do not lock your elbows!.) Just go about 3/4 way up and back down again until your nose touches the floor and back up again!. Then keep repeating the process until desired number of reps have been reached!.

This will get you in the best shape!. Its also much safer!.

Pushups are a great exercise considering they work your triceps, biceps, lats, and pectorials!. Clap and finger pushups are not much different, they don't use any extra muscle they're just more challenging and work up a sweat a little more!. I do not know your strength but doing about 3 sets of about as much as you can every to every other is a great way to tone up and get into shape!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Different arm positions (diamond, wide, straight, etc) just work out different areas of the chest/arms/etc!. Also, incorporate push-ups at different angles (for example: elevate your feet on a chair, etc)!.

Clap and finger push ups are for show and not much else!. (well, maybe clap push ups could be used for 'burst' high speed training!.!.!.!.something you do with sport training!. I do this with my legs, for hockey!.!.!.!.!.but I suppose this would work for speed in the pecs)

A good rule of them I use when training with push ups!.!.!.!.!.Do as many as you can in two minutes, without letting your body rest on the floor!. Then wait 3 minutes and do another 2 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Push-ups are very good!. But most people think of the simple ones, but there are many different types of push-ups that work different parts of your upper body!. Wide, Regular, Diamond, Feet elevated, one-handed, all of these work different parts of the chest/arms!. And you will find yourself using muscles you didn't even know you had!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say do your max number of pushups in at least 5 sets every other day!.

But DO NOT do diamond pushups!. They ruin your wrist muscles and can give you tendonitis in your wrists!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Diamond push-ups are hard but worked good for defining the muscle in between you pecs, pretty much it is what creates the shape!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
