I am a freshman in college and have recently moved into a room with a guy who is a year ahead of me (and a year older)!. He has been living in the room for the last year and his old roommate left to go to another college!. When I first moved in he told me that he was relaxed about clothes and that I should make myself at home blah blah

The fact that he was surprised to see you when you got home today tells you that he wasn't setting it up - it just happened!. You really need to sit down with this guy (fully clothed) and have an honest talk!. Tell him that you are uncomfortable with him being naked and partially dressed and that you would appreciate it if he would at least cover up with a bathrobe!.

You have been raised to associate nudity with sex!. Your room mate has a different attitude!. People who are used to casual nudity don't associate it with sex, they associate it with being comfortable!. Your roomie asked if you were comfortable with it and you gave a false answer because you wanted to seem cool!. It's better to answer that question honestly!. He was asking because he could see you were uncomfortable!. Most nudists are willing to adjust to some extent around non-nudist friends!. Have a talk with your roommate and tell him that you've realized that you're not 100% comfortable with him being nude so much!. Maybe you're trying to be, but you haven't escaped all your programming yet!. Work out with him how much nudity you can take, and work out a compromise where you infringe as little as possible on his freedom, and he infringes as little as possible on your sensibilities!. You can always change the rules later if your attitudes change!. Open, honest communication is key in these situations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
