Sorry to hear that!.!.!. I had to figure it out on my own as well!.

Okay, I would get some shaving gel and a Gillette Sensor!. This is what I like, it's not the end all be all of shaving but it does the job without tearing up my face!.

I do use an electric razor on an almost daily basis!. My experience is if I don't use it every day my whiskers get to long and it takes me a long time to shave with the electric!. If you shave every day with electric they work fine once your skin gets used to it!. That takes about 30 shaves to do that!.

I don't know how your beard is at 16 because every one is different, but I guess it's thin and spotty so you most likely will not have to shave every day even with an electric!. Start off using a disposable razor like the Gillette Sensor so you can learn the grain of your beard!. You may have spots that grow in a different direction than the rest of your beard and you need to be aware of where these spots are!.

I've been told that you should shave with the grain, but if you are careful and go against it you get a much closer shave!. Doing so you run the risk of getting an ingrown hair in your face though, not comfortable!.

You only need about a quarter sized dot of shaving gel to adequately cover your shaving area!. If your beard is course let the foam sit on your face for 3-4 minutes!. This will soften your beard and make it easier to shave!.

You can use after shave if you want but you don't have to!. If you do use it!.!.!. brace your self, it's going to burn a little but not like your face is on fire or anything!. If you bleed a little I've found that the after shave helps to stop it!. If you get a really good nick in your face take a small piece of tissue, put it on your tongue, make sure it's damp, then put it on your cut!. It sounds gross but it stops the bleeding preety quick and you can continue to get ready!.

Hope that helps you out!. Exparament with differnt razors, but remember that more expensive is not always better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every guy goes through this!.!.!. Best advice I can give is start out with an electric razor and when you get older (much older) you'll probably have to move to a straight razor!. The older you get the more corse your hair gets and most electric razors have trouble giving a close, smooth shave!. I paid 200+ for my last electric razor and all it did was feel like it was ripping my face hair out!.

How To shave: !.!.!. Again, starting out if your hair isnt that thick, you want to shave in the direction that the hair is growing!. Also known as shaveing with the grain!. If it is thick then you want to shave against the grain (the opposite way the hair is growing)!. It gives you a closer shave!.

Sorry for your loss but I hope I could help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heya mate, you could ask one of your male friends (around your age)!. i had to ask my mates, not because my dad died!.!.but because my dad wasnt helping and didnt want me to!. A razor is manual (meaning its not plugged it, you do all the work) - like the one i use
Electric Shavers are plugged into a wall!.!. sorry i couldnt be more of a help, only started a few months ago myself :sWww@Answer-Health@Com

I use the disposable yellow Bic razors , and shaving cream for sensitive skin !. Wet your face first with warm water !. Apply the shaving cream and then just shave against the grain !. (Shave in the opposite direction of your hairs )Www@Answer-Health@Com
