I will probably be the oldest one answering your question but here goes!.
ALL parents know that their teenage son masturbates because ALL teenage boys do masturbate!. They might not be honest about it but believe me they do!.
I am a dad and I talk to my children about masturbation and let them know that's its not wrong and that they should be comfortable with it!.
yes i have done it with someone else and yes it was a male friend!. the first time masturbating with someone else is a little awkward but after that anyone else that you do it with it seems pretty normal!. So now i would be completely comfortable!.

My parents do know, I'm sure!. Everyone masturbates, so although we've never discussed it (even when we had "the talk" when I was eleven) I'm sure that they assume I do it, like everyone else on the planet!.
