Sorry about your dad!. There is no way of know when someone will die, and a stroke is not something you could have anticipated or done anything about!. A lot of people also die at 3 am, which is why it's called souls midnight!. It is natural to wonder why and think there is something you could or should have done about it, asking all the "what if's" or "if only I had!.!.!." It is part of the grieving process, and you will have to work through the process at your own pace!. You may want to seek out any local support groups that might give you an outlet to voice your feelings and may help you in this process!. There may be others you could face your grief with, side by side, rather than feeling alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am most sorry for your fathers passing!. There is absolutely nothing you can do in situations like this!. If he had a massive stroke and was in the ER at the Hospital, the stroke could not have been averted!.

In this life there are some events that are determined by fate, this is one of them!. You cannot have second thoughts about what could have been when the outcome would probably have been the same!. You did absolutely nothing wrong!.

Your information on when most men die is not consistent with what I have read!. I have read the most men die on a Monday morning as that is when the stress etc!., starts for the work week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I work in a neurology unit at a hospital, what I do is take care of stroke patients!. I have never heard this before and I really don't think it is true!. As a matter of fact no one has died at 9 am on my floor since I started working there 2 years ago! Strokes or anything else for that matter do not differentiate between times!. Stroke is caused be lack of blood flow to part of the brain due to a clot blocking off an artery!. This does not always cause death but in cases where the clot is very big or blood flow is decreased for a long period of time death can happen!. The only way you could have saved him is if he was exhibiting symptoms before the stroke actually occurred and he was taken for medical treatment very quickly!. Do not worry yourself over this!. It is normal to feel like you could have done more when you are grieving for a loved one but, there really is nothing you could have done!. I am very sorry for your loss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm so sorry your dad died!. My dad died ten years ago!. A stroke is just as difficult to prevent as a heart attack!. I think you're looking way into what you read on line!. Don't torture yourself with "facts" of when and what time a man dies!. You couldn't have prevented his passing or predicted it!. Sometimes things like this happen with no explaination!. Just know that your dad is always with you in your heart and memory and he's watching over you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you could not have anticipated it, or done anything to prevent it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
