I will answer the best I can without judgement or trying to make you more upset than you probably already are but pornography in the hands of the young is not a good thing!. If he has seen it only once and not a regular viewer then he is likely fine, But regular exposure to it at a young age can be really detrimental!. Thirteen year olds are not emotionally or intellectually mature enought to understand the implications of porn!. Oh sure, most know about the sex act, masturbation and the "basics" but no thirteen year old is able to fully appreciate the conflicting thoughts that occur in the adult brain!. You need to do a much better job of hiding it and you need to talk to him!. You need to apologize for leaving it in a place for him to find it and explain the best that you can that he must wait until he is older and then make the choice himself if he wants to be a viewer of pornography!. Ok first of all let me say that you are doing a very noble thing by raising your 13 yr old brother when you are merely 19!. I am 19 and don't know if I could handle that!. I think that you should be truthful with him!. You don't want to risk your relationship being damaged!. Unfortunately I have friends who are 14 that have already had sex, so he is not to young to know or be told!. However I would tell him that while it may be nice to look at it is something that could potentially give him the wrong image of women and sex and he should not get involved with it!. The uncomfortable truth is that at his age he's more than likely devoloped an intrest in girls and without being too graphic, he's probably developed an intrest in exploring his own body!. Also nowadays, if you have a computer or cable then he was gonna see it or has seen it anyways!. If you don't but any of his friends do, then he was gonna see it anyway if he already hasn't!. Its really no big deal!. What I would do is let him know that it's no big deal!. Even welcome him to enjoy it!.
