im nineteen and im raising my thirteen year old brother!. He asked me for a condom!. i tried telling him that hes too young to be having sex and he got mad!. We are very open about sex because i dont think its something that she be hidden or not talked about!. Should i give him a condom!? i mean, wouldnt it be better than him not using one at all!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you are right!. You should tell him he is too young to be having sex!. If he is curious about what they look like, you can show him a picture on one on the web, but I would not be giving them to him!.
However, you should tell him that if the time comes when he is going to have sex then he should definitely ask the girl first (not just spring it on her) and get back to you about getting a condom!. Tell him when he is 18 or 19, he will be old enough to buy them on his own!.

First, You are honorary for raising you brother!.
I personally wouldn't give him the condom!. This is due to the fact that he is to young to be having sex!. The legal age for sex for it to not be considered a type of rape is 16!. If the girl that was willing(and stayed willing) told her parents, your brother could be charged!. Its best to tell him to wait until 16!.
Tell him about the dangers of having sex(hiv, stds, and such)!. I know you probably wouldn't want to teach your brother it!. But most boys around that age(13-16) usually just cool off the sex steam by jerking off!. Although it just goes up to forever haha!.

well if the abstinence talk didn't work!. then you should by all means give him a condom and show him the correct way to use it!. also explain the responsibilities and the repercussions of taking that next step!.!.i can't tell you how many times i see kids get screwed up cause they used the condom wrong, of they couldn't figure it out and decided not to use it at all!.!.!.

i know you love your brother and i understand that you don't want him to have sex at an early age but seriously, can you stop him from doing it!? the only thing you can do is give hiim advice on the pros and cons and of course, i suggest you give him the condom before he gets someone pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would not give a 13 year old a condom!. That would let him know that you approve of him having sex!. Try sitting down with him and ask what is going on!. Does he have a girlfriend!? Do they spend unsupervised time together!? Which is a no-no!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
