While you went to all the time, trouble & expense of seeing a doctor, you should have gotten your money's worth & asked him the same question for a more professional answer!. I would say an average height for a 13 year old would be roughly 5'4"!. Each person's chemical makeup & genetic progress is different - so it is hard to say exactly what one would determine as average!. The boy next door is 15 years old & 5'10" tall!.
