A few months ago, I posted the following question in the Men's Health forum: "Why do men smell bad down there!?"
Sure enough, a teenage boy responded with the following:
it's because of the sweat n plus u got to member thats were pee n sperm comes from!. give it a break most ppl i hear complain bout how girls smell!. like at school all u hear is hey "BETH" close ur legs it smells like tuna!. Wen do u hear that bout a guy!?

What, Teen Boy!? You hear more often that girls smell!? And you hear at school derogatory comments about female odor that are so common that they are readily recognizable as commenting on the female body (such as"tuna")!?

This is exactly the kind of answer I was soliciting!. I intended to evoke the sexist, disparaging, and socially induced comments that men and boys make about women!. These comments cause young girls to hate their bodies--proof of that abounds in the Women's Health forum--and encourage young boys to disparage women's bodies and revere their own!. Society indoctrinates boys into a culture that simultaneously hates and sexualizes the female body!.
The victim is the adolescent girl--who grows into an adult woman who never appreciates her own body!. Who reveres the male body!.

Drop the feminist diatribe, it doesn't make you sound intelligent it makes you sound bitter!. The fact is that your question was in fact accusatory and that is why you received a defensive response!. Tell a boy he stinks and he will say "No, you stink!" It's got nothing to do with sexism it's got to do with self preservation and pride!. The real truth is that the feminist movement although a necessary and positive step in the right direction has somehow gone from celebrating women and getting them what they deserve to male bashing and a desire for sameness!. There is nothing wrong with men and women being different or even perceived differently in society!. The female form is sexualized because sexual interaction between a male and a female is an encoded primitive desire!. Women dress provocatively in order to promote the sexuality or sexiness that men are attracted to!. It is no different than most animal species on the planet!. If anything women have decided to promote this need for sexiness or beauty much more than men ever have!. The truth is men would seek out females regardless of their tendency to dress or look a certain way!. It is women themselves who choose to push plastic surgery, make-up, skimpy outfits and most things feminists find disgusting!.
