According to my RE teacher it all depends on which sect of christianity you follow, for example if your a liberal protestant (i believe), you can do very nearly whatever the damn you want, within reason of course, as they edit the usual christian practises to match modern society, and seeing as whacking off has been proven to be beneficial your deliberately not helping yourself, which I'm quite sure is not something any god would want, unless hes a bastard one who takes pleasure in watching young men die slightly every time they see an attractive woman!.

dude do you think masterbation is wrong!? the next time your at church look around 98% of the people around you have masterbated at one time or another!. even the pastor in the front preachin to you!. diffrent religins like catholics frown on birth control but i can gaurentee that most practice birthcontrol methods weather it is the pill or a condom that is wrong too!. No, its a really good way to find out what is the best way to pleasure you!. This can make things with your partner, a lot easier!. Also, it's a good way to relieve any sexual tensions that you may have without involving anybody else!. this is one question many Christians have to deal with and the only thing that I suggest is to try not to
1!. don't take long showers
2!. don't watch porno
3!. go to sleep as fast as you can to avoid "think about it"
4!. avoid stay alone at home
5!. put the computer in an open area--where most can see
6!. if you fall into temptation you can resist but be aware that the enemy will try to make you fall
7!. if you do masturbate, ask, in prayer for help with this weakness, God does help you to be strong when we fall to our temptation!. If you cannot overcome God will not abondone us but He will make us strong!. we must confess our sins to God and He will forgive!.
8!. if you do masturbate, ask God for His forgiveness, but remember that He knows our heart and mind!.
