What is your opinion on circumcision in newborn boys?!

My opinion on circumcision in newborn boys is the same as that for new born girls!.
Same type of hiding spots and closed in folds of skin with the same disease and hygiene risks!.

OH! I guess that I forgot that girls are lily white and know how to wash and move skin back to wash and clean where as boys are pigs and wouldn't ever consider keeping clean! Helpless and incapable of hygiene!!.!.!.!.The excuse for circumcision as hygiene has just gone so old!.

It scares me here too, because I read that circumcision prevents std and AIDS!
That is so untrue and is going to raise huge problems in Africa because men are being forced circumcision there and being told that they won't catch AIDS!

Std and AIDS is the result of having sexual activity with an infected person!.!.!.!.!.!.bottom line!! Having or not having a foreskin will protect no one!

Come on people!!.!.!.think a little!. We run, brain washed in one direction or another being crowd pleasers and run with bias groupies!.

I hurt no one, but go with what is best for Me! and what gives me my best sexual benefits!.

It isn't about a look or an anteater, it's about a functioning organ, and in which condition it performs it's best job as designed and intended!. I would hope that most of us don't plan on making it an ornament or a social "the same as" to compare and say!.!.He's good, because he's the same as all of the rest of us!?

As I'm finding the case to be with most things today, I pick the side of natures design as to what will work the best for Me! Man has a habit of screwing up everything in nature that he gets his hands on, and my gear won't be part of that list nor will the gear of my boys!.!.!.or girls!.

You deal with the body as it is intended to be!. You don't remove your toe nails, because having toe nails could mean a hang nail or ingrown toe nail infection!.

There are many here who are saying how glad they are that they were circumcised and on who said that he had enough at 17 and was circumcised! Enough of what!?!?

I have natures bes,t know what my sexual experience is, and the acute sense of awesome detailed feelings that it give me , and there is no one who could talk me out of my experience to look like a bell or a mushroom or other pet description!.

I go for function performance and amazing feelings!. Not that it's particularly an interest item, but I find it to look good to me and my Lady, and we are the only ones who shold see it, and who should, matter where my gear is concerned!.

My boys will get to make their own choice but they will have a chance to know what it's about first, and locker rooms won't count, because none of those people are going to be there, when they are making Love and wanting the best that making Love can give them, and the best control by being able to feel every little detail, like even a hair!.

I have never had a bad smell, an infection, or any type of these things that are being spewed out by dudes who where circumcises at birth!. No problems at all, and when mine is ready for action, the protective skin slides back and mine looks the same as anyone's except that it is blue and shiny instead of dry wrinkled and like the pink layered skin of someone's thumb!. I wonder which person here has a better sense of detailed feeling for awesome Love making, and the real deal without needing to pull in a bunch of imaginings of other nude women, to get enough excitement to come off!?

I hope that your survey turns out good for you, as much as it surprises me in that school just started and you already have an assignment dealing with !.!.!.!.!.foreskins and circumcision!?!?!?!? Come on!!!! Hahahaha!

It's not necessary and also pretty cruel!.

Most men worldwide never get it done and have no problems!. Foreskin problems are rare and minor and usually easily treatable!. Removing the foreskin when nothing is wrong makes no sense!.

Circumcision can have lots of complications and problems itself!.

Also the foreskin is sexually sensitive and helps keep the glans more sensitive so it's taking away some of a guy's sexual pleasure!.

The supposed health benefits have never been proven, they used to say it prevented masturbation and cured things like bed wetting, epilepsy, blood noses, now they are saying infections and HIV, but the studies aren't very accurate and always get rebutted!.

I wouldn't do it if I had any sons!.

I can give you a perspective from both a professional and a maternal view!. I do not agree with newborn circumcision unless there are religious reasons for the procedure!. There are not really any medical reasons for doing so!. Newborn circumcision is done without anesthetic, and the amount of foreskin that is removed is a guesstimate based on the doctor's experience!. Like any procedure, it comes with risks as well!. The baby may bleed badly, it can become infected, mistakes do happen, and there can be healing problems or scarring that requires further procedures later on in life!. Little baby boys must be strapped down for the procedure, and I assure you- they certainly do feel the pain!. I refuse to assist with circumcisions at all, having done so as a new nurse and seeing how it's done!. When my sons were born, I did not have it done to them either!. I don't snip puppy tails or ears, and I don't bob little tally-whackers either!. I personally don't think God will keep anyone out of heaven for lack of a foreskin, or for having one either!. I am willing to concede that other people do have religious requirements for the procedure, so if that is so I would prefer it was done by a urologist at least!. When my sons are old enough to decide for themselves, they may have it done if they chose to!. The arguements about sanitation are baloney- as a certain amount of foreskin is present even after circumcision, and it all needs to be hit with soap and water every day!. The same thing applies to prevention of STD transmission!. Men should wear condoms, and be taught to be picky about where they put their belongings anyway!. I know little boys are supposed to be comparing equipment, but honestly it's just never been an issue with my sons!. My husband was circumcised as an infant back in the days when nobody thought to ask, so obviously he and the boys do look different!. When the question came up, once, he simply explained why!. Otherwise, I just don't think it's an issue really!. Most of the male world is not circumcised either, so they are members of the majority- more likely to be the same than different!. Anyway, I don't think looks are really a valid arguement for the procedure!. Boys are born with a foreskin!. Girls are born with a clitoris, and we consider removing that genital mutilation!. And that's pretty much how I view routine circumcision of newborn boys!. I don't know that it has a necessary function, but since males are born that way, it obviously must be for some reason!. Just because we can live without something isn't an argument to do so!. it is said that getting a circumcision reduces ones chances of getting an std/sti!. But in actual fact the AMA has NEVER endorsed circumcision, even today my profession leaves it up to doctors "telling patients about this fact"!. I have done the research in for quite a few of the studies, an we have found that there is NO correlation to those getting circumcision/not getting a circumcision and them getting an STD/STI!. However, most of our superiors tells us if we do not fudge the results to show a benefit of getting a circumcision, pretty much we don't get paid!.

Also here is a fact that most people do not know:
in the US many people believe circumcision is common for the world!. actually no because 80% of males are uncircumcisized!. Now, any study that showed benefits always LEAVES that out!. Think of it from a logical point!. if any of the studies had any merit to it, then it would be saying 80% of the world is diseased!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Personally I'm against it!. I don't believe in cutting off perfectly healthy body parts!. The reasons people often cite to support circumcision are hygiene and prevention of STD's!. Proper education is the key to these issues, not cutting off a part of baby's body!.

Always keep in mind when reading medical studies on circumcision that medical professionals have a vested interest in it as they use the foreskins!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello Heart!. All I can tell you is that I was circumcised as an infant (as was my younger brother) and I'm pleased I was!. There are a whole number of reasons why circumcision is a good thing (although a lot of extremists will give you a heap of reasons for not doing it)!. As an infant I can tell you there is NO pain, at least none that is remembered!. I like it from a hygene/cleanliness point of view, an aesthetic point of view and the fact that getting STDs and other diseases is minimised!. It's good for sex because you can last a little longer (not always mind lol) !.!.!. well at the end of the day it will be personal preference but I'm definitely in favour and it certainly didn't do ME any harm - on the contrary!. :)

I had a little boy and I chose circumcision because I thought he would be glad when he was older that I did!. I was worried because I didn't want him growing up wondering why his was different!. I also thought since my husband (now ex) was the same way it would be easier for him to understand!.
Personally (this is a little embarrassing) I have never even seen an uncircumsised penis and I didn't know how to deal with teaching him how to wash it correctly or anything else that he may need to know!. I asked my husband if he could help and he said since his was circumsised how was he suppose to know!.
