Harriet has answered this perfectly! At 13 a boy's hormones are having a very strong effect, and sex is very much on his mind, along with spontaneous erections which he can't control!.

Yes!. I agree they can, MOST of them, not all of them, I believe!. When I was 13, I always thought about sex, but I didn't have a girlfriend!. But, I wouldn't want any 13 year old to have sex until they are over 18!. Too young & it might ruin your life by unwanted pregnancy, STDs & other things that are worse, I guess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm sure most of them would think about it, but that doesn't mean they would act upon it!. All 13 year olds are different!. I've known some in really innocent relationships which they call boyfriend/girlfriend but they don't even kiss!. Whereas a few 13 year olds do have sex!.
