Well keep in mind a vasectomy reversal is only one option!. And, if you reverse it, are you going to want to have more than one child with him!? If you're only planning one or two, then theoretically he'll want to go through with having the vasectomy again, and while I assume you can do that, it would sure be a painful process!.

For your consideration, here's another option: It's called a TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction)!. Essentially it's a procedure where the sperm is removed via the testes directly!. It's not the most comfortable procedure in the world to imagine, but it certainly has a quicker recovery time than a vasectomy or reverse vasectomy (hours as opposed to days)!. Plus with local anasthetics, it's pretty pain-free!.

So you do the TESE, take the sperm out and do a quickie IUI and then you're good!. All of this for about the same price as a reverse vasectomy and you don't have to worry about reversing the reverse later down the road!.

Just a thought!. There's more than one way to skin a cat!.!.!. or choke a chicken, as it were!

Best of luck!

There is little chance in the current cash strapped NHS of getting this procedure reversed, they tend to prefer to use the money they do have for patients who are in fact ill!.

It can be reversed privately, all you need to do is contact any private hospital, either directly or via your GP!. They will give you both a package price and details of their success rates!.

Average cost is around
