Get on a good balanced diet with plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables!. You need green, leafy vegetables!. Slack off the starchy stuff - like potatoes, pasta, rice, breads, cakes, cookies, donuts, brownies, sweet, sugary soda's!. Drink plenty of water to help keep the traffic flowing!. Meats need to be baked, boiled or broiled - never fried!. Dump the junk food - avoid Fast Food Restaurants!. If you get up one hour early every morning & take a brisk 30 minute walk - then, do the same thing again in the evening after dinner - after 90 days you will be surprised @ how much better you feel & look!. If you feel you need more exercise than that, try doing sit ups, push ups, pull ups, skipping rope & skating!. But - you must make a commitment to yourself to do the weight loss efforts or you will fail!. You cannot do it just when you 'feel' like it!. It must be done every day to get results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start running!. If you are too overweight to do much running, start a vigorous walking program!. Try walking 3 miles a day, fairly quickly (quick enough so that you are sweating and your pulse is quickening after a while)!. When you think you're ready, start jogging the second half of the distance, then the whole way!.

If you can get yourself to be jogging 3 miles 3 or 4 days a week, and walking the other days, you will have lost considerable weight!. (And if you think walking 3 miles is an unwieldy task, then you probably need to start doing it!.) You'll also find that the more oily and fatty foods aren't as attractive when you're exercising every day!. When you realize how good being fit actually feels, it becomes a lot easier to resist indulging in bad habits that will make exercising harder!. And even if you don't eat totally great, you will still be burning probably twice the calories daily that you are now!. 3500 calories approximately equals one pound of weight*, so burn 500 more calories than you consume each day, and you should lose about a pound a week!.
