ok im in grade 9 and b4 in grade 8 i never went to any of em except like in the end of grade 7 !. i really want to go but like im a little shy and i suck at dancing to be honest!. one of my friend emily wants me to go but idk can some 1 help me out and stuff any thing would help what so ever ill give 10 points to best answer :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dances are more about socializing with your friends and meeting new people!. More people will be not dancing instead of dancing all the time!. No one's going to make you dance if you don't feel like it!. Also, kids don't "dance", they just "move" to the music, so there's no real right or wrong way!. Just go with Emily and have a good time!. If she is your friend have fun and just tell her you can't dance and I bet she'll be happy to teach you!. I can't dance and I'm thirty-seven but my wife loves dancing and she could care less that I can't!. Get to that dance and have fun-don't worry about anyone but you and take advantage of Emily who wants you to go with her!. All you have to do is dance to slow songs and hold her and move side to side!. You'll be fine!!! I guarantee you will be a better dancer than me within five minutes!. Well!.!.!.!.in order for you to overcome your fear of an audience because you are shy you have to get the courage to just do it!.!.!.and it should be a little easier on you because your friend Emily is inviting you so just go not thinking that you cant dance just think of it as you are hanging out to have a goodtime, and once you hear the music and see everyone not caring you may just relax and open up!.!.!.Just feel the music you will be suprised how many people say they can't dance!.!.and they do a better job than they imagined!.!.!.!.so enjoy yourself you are young these are going to be your laughs and smiles when you get older!. Go anyway because at dances, no one cares what you do!. I always act like a complete idiot and my friends back me up!. We end up having the best time and guess what! We also get sweet yearbook pictures!. It's a win-win situation!. :) Hope that helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
