Question: 17 year old boys hair falling out!?
My little brother, who is 17 has had big clumps or hair falling out recently!.!.!. what are some possible reasons!?
He is going to the doctors but I just want some possible reasons in the mean time!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most likely alopecia, as others have said!. I wanted to add that alopecia doesn't cause any problems beyond being bald!.!.!. it doesn't make the person sick or anything, it just makes hair fall out!.

Other possibilities include dietary problems, a skin infection, or an allergic reaction to shampoo!.
