Question: Do you have to use pre and after shave when just trimming the beard!?
I'm young and new to the whole shaving thing!. i know when you shave you use pre and after shave but what about when you trim your beard!?
I've got a Braun Cruzer 4 which is excellent for styling your beard, i'll be trimming the beard to a very short length (probably just leaving a few mm's hair length on the face)!. so do i need pre and after shave or something else!?

Pre shave will make your hair stand up stronger to help you shave, but it isn't really necessary!.
Avoid after shave as it may smell good but it stings like hell, so isn't worth the bother!.

You don't need all those chemicals little bro!. If you just have to use a chemical and have an electric shaver, pick up some electro shave!. It will make your whiskers stand up, but seriously man, you don't need any of those fancy things to trim your beard to a few mm length!.
