Diets for men over 40?!


Question: Diets for men over 40!?
my dad is going on a diet this week!. he is 43 with bone problems so he cannot do to much exersize!. well my question is what are some good workouts for men his age and condition so he can lose some weight and be healthy!? thnxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cut out sweets & meats!. Teach him how to make different vegetable stir fry meals!. Any kind of fish will be much better than meat!. For snacks, make a veggie tray (like at the grocery store) with low-fat ranch dressing!. Almonds & cashews are healthy nuts (kind of pricey)!. You can also make up a fruit tray like the veggie tray!.

Walking in the morning & evening is a good start!. Add some regular, light yard work later on!.

Chocolate milk has a lot of sugar, but it has calcium and might make him feel young like a kid again!. ( A sweet tooth exception)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would have him start out with just walking!. Then he can do some simple things around the house such as squats, lunges, sit ups; exercise doesn't have to involve equipment or weights or a gym!. Simply walking up and down stairs gradually until he can build his stamina; holding a canned vegetable in each hand while doing arm curls and such!.
