hi guys, when you go for your physical or doctor's exam, did your doctor use bare hand to examine you or did he wear a glove!? is it common for him to just hold the shaft and examine the balls using bare hands!.!.!? thanks!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think public health guidelines require that the doctor wear gloves when doing a rectal exam, besides the fact that he wouldn't want to risk scratching you with his fingernail!.
Usually they wear gloves for other palpitations of the genitals as well, to be on the safe side, but I can imagine sometimes doing without them because of a need for more precise sensitivity!.
I don't know why a doctor would need to feel the shaft of your penis, unless he has some reason to suspect cysts or lumps of some sort are present!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My doctor always uses gloves -- non-latex gloves, because I have an allergy to latex!.
Reason: if I had a communicable disease on my penis or my balls, he might not want to get it by touching the skin with his bare hands!.

it should be a courtesy for BOTH you and him for your physician to wear gloves!.!.!.because YOU don't KNOW where he has been!. IF you don't have a problem w/ it then yea!.!.there is no SET rule as to he HAS to wear glove or not!. The risk of him transmitting anything via holding the shaft is extremely minimal!. but like i said before!.!.its your call!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on the exam as a mother of 4 sons I have seen the Dr!. use gloves only to do a rectal exam it's not different then doing a breast exam on a woman they don't use gloves so relax do you feel violated now or what!? if so speak up and don't let it ride!.!.!.!.tell your mother!.!.!.!.my sons didn't mind it since they are Dr!.'s!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can always tell the doctor how you feel about what is happening when you are being examined!. doctors are people too,,, respect is respect, he is examining your body!. if you want him to wear gloves when he doesn't have any on,,,ask him to put them on!.

Ok normally its up to the doctor as to if they wear gloves or not, some do some don't!. All they do is handle your balls, they don't mess with they "shaft"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know that and I'm not a guy!. They are suppose to use gloves and then ask you to cough, I've seen it when my brother went to the doctor as a teen!. Some docs are yucky:(Www@Answer-Health@Com
