You are probably just a little behind your friends in the hair area or maybe you just aren't a hairy person! Diabetes shouldn't affect that kind of thing if it's well controlled!. If after your 18th (when your growth will be almost done) you are still concerned, the doctor may offer to do a hormone test if you are worried or have other symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

people are different!. Some men have hairy backs and others have hairy chests others have thick beards some men can only grow a mustache!. Some men have very little hair on their armpits and a lot of hair on their chest!. Everyone is different!. If you are concerned you can have your doctor draw blood and check your testosterone levels!. Enjoy not having a lot of body hair!. Girls/women tend not to like body hair on men!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Testosterone helps men reduce body fat and improves the way their bodies handle insulin!. So low testosterone levels may have serious consequences for men with diabetes this includes lack of hair growth, Low self esteem, and Low sex drive!. Your Doctor can do a simple test to determine low levels and give you a cream that you apply to your forearm and it will give you enough testosterone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you look at all the pictures of teenage hero's in the magazines etc!.none of them have hairy chests and very little body hair!.It is a well known fact that David Beckham has hair removal treatment!.
Your diabetes should not affect your hair growth but can have an effect on hormones!.
My husband had very little body or facial hair until he was in his late twenties and now complains because he has to shave everyday so i wouldn't worry too much!.
Most girls and women that i know all say that they prefer a man with less body hair so enjoy the lack of what a lot of men pay to have removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
