Answers:
It is removal of a specialized part of the shaftskin that when moved up and down the shaft will cover/uncover the head of the penis!. It is not "the tip of the penis" or "extension of skin" or "flap of skin", most of the removed tissue is actually located more or less in the middle/upper middle area of the shaft!. Circumcision removes this midsection and "stitches" the remaining upper/lower sections together to create the scar line!.

The frenulum is often fully or partially removed as well, this part is also nerve rich like the foreskin and connects to the underside of the head to help detect movement and in an intact male, connects to the foreskin's prepucial ring/ridged bands and helps keep the foreskin moving over the glans properly!.

The mobile skin is thought to help reduce rawing friction, increase pleasure, and reduce the need for lubrication for women!. For men, the foreskin is nerve rich and keeps the head "fresh" and protected from drying out or contacting things that could harm it or reduce its ability to detect movement (ie clothing, bedding, fabric, etc)!. It provides an easy way to masturbate or perform oral/handjobs by simply moving the skin, and is self-lubricating!.

Medically it was thought to provide health benefits, however, the original reasons have been disproven or negated by other factors!. Some recent studies suggest certain benefits, but are countered by other studies showing there is none or even the opposite of the studies!. Currently no medical health association recommends infant circumcision for medical reasons, although they acknowledge there might be things to consider, but more research is needed!.

Cleanliness is a topic brought up commonly, but is actually mainly a result of improper care of the penis!.!.!. by parents, adults, and teens!. Parents think they must pull back the skin to clean it as infants, however, the foreskin is "glued" to the glans and forced separation will cause tears, redness, and infection!. Parents (and adults/teens) then overuse soap because they think the area is so dirty it needs more cleaning, which not only creates problems, but also amplifies any current issues!. Soap removes the bad AND good bacteria, which is why there are special cleaners to get rid of infections (monistat, etc)!. If someone knows about these misconceptions they will avoid most of the issues!. Sadly, even doctors and pediatricians can recommend improper care, especially for infants!.

Suffice it to say, the opinion about circumcision varies per person, but I think everyone should get the right to choose what is best for their life and their body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The normal, intact male has enough skin on the penis that if folds double at the end, and covers the glans (NOT gland), or knob at the end of the penis!. When the penis hardens and lengthens during erection, the foreskin folds back to uncover the glans in normal adults!. When intact boys get erections, the glans usually remains covered, up to a certain age!. A boy will usually first start retracting his foreskin shortly before or during puberty!.

When a man is circumcised, this double fold of skin is cut away, so that the glans is always uncovered!. Circumcision may be performed at any age, from just after birth through old age!. After circumcision, the glans grows a thicker skin and becomes less sensitive to touch, and the skin of the penis becomes less mobile!. Among men who are circumcised after infancy, some notice a striking difference in the sexual sensitivity of their penis, others say the difference is minimal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

circumcision removes the skin over the glans of the penis, the foreskin keeps the glans sensitive and allows for gliding motion that greatly enhances sex and masturbation

with the foreskin the skin covers the head of the penis similar to how the clitoral hood covers the clitoris

circumcision is done for tradition now, people argue health effects but that reasoning is no longer valid as we have running water and such!. the main health effects that started the whole popularity of circumcision thing was in the victorian era when sex and masturbation were dirty and unclean, circumcision removes the most sensitive parts (as later proven by the Sorrell's fine touch study) and was thought to prevent the unhealthy habit of masturbation (according to thoughts at the time)

I restored mine non surgically, and I can say having one makes a HUGE difference, don't listed to the people that have only known one way, how can they possibly know if it makes a differenceWww@Answer-Health@Com

when a guy gets circumcised they cut off the piece of foreskin that covers the gland (head) of their penis, it happends when the child is very young, and if they are not circumcised then it just looks like the head of the penis is covered by a layer of skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When the foreskin of the penis is removed!. It does not matter, if you are cut or not!. Why some people have to say one is better than the other is beyond me!. We are all differentWww@Answer-Health@Com
