I am 20 and lost my virginity two months before my 19th birthday!.
I don't necessarily believe in waiting until marriage!. I studied many Christian religions and read the Bible several times!. In Old Testament times, marriage WAS the act of sex!. They didn't have a priest do a ceremony!. The whole ceremony thing to make a marriage official is a modern Christian church movement that started within the past few centuries!.

I do believe that two people should be in love when they decide to have sex!. I think that a person should know the true meaning of love, not some middle school or high school infatuation!. A person should be able to look his/her partner in the eyes and honestly say "I love you" before the time comes to have sex, and the first time should be out of love, not horniness!. In a normal relationship, this wouldn't be until at least several months into it!.
Sorry that was a little longer of an answer than you asked for!. But my point is that you make sure you and your partner are ready before having sex; it is an important step in any relationship and is not to be taken lightly!.

I haven't lost mine yet, but I hear about a lot of people in my school loosing their virginity, most of them are aged 15!. Go onto the channel 4 website and watch the sex education show online, the episodes tell you information about loosing your virginity and also let you in on what age many famous people lost their virginity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I was 15, by a 43 year old widow friend of the family!. This went on until I joined the US Navy at almost 19, and when I came home on liberty/leave until I got married!. She taught me a WHOLE lot about pleasuring a lady!. I"ve never had any complaints!.
