Why would a guy avoid a girl if he likes her? (long but i need help...)?!
Question: Why would a guy avoid a girl if he likes her!? (long but i need help!.!.!.)!?
i am 17 and this guy is confusing me!. 2 years ago we did a small project in class and after that i noticed him gazing at me from faraway and staring and glancing alot!. i always ignored it because im shy with guys!.
he also brushed up against me when im not in his way!.
it seems he tries to be near me for example walk out behind me in class, come walk past my table multiple times in class (now that we have switched seats and i sit near him he doesnt do that), he used to sit in the direction NOT facing me and as he would sit down in his seat he would turn around and glance in my direction real quick!.
but now i sit at his table i sit next to a guy and then he sits next to the guy so there is 1 person inbetween us!. it seems he tries really hard to avoid talking to me for example he was having trouble with a problem and the guy next to him told him to ask me but then he turned really quick the other way and started talking to his friend!.
we did a small project in class and he was begging the teacher to allow him to go into another group (why would he try to do this if he liked me!?)but she said no and when we did the lab when i said something he would look at me with a deep gaze in his eyes like he was memorizing my face almost (don't know how to explain it)!. noone has ever stared at me like this before!.!.he is outgoing but someone told me he is shy when not around friends!.
he did not appear nervous or anything when we did the project!. we did not flirt but when we made eyecontact i felt a strong connection!. i could sense him looking at me alot (he was standing up across from me)!.
i really like him and i dont know how to go about showing him i like him!. it seems he doesnt wanna talk to me though what do i do!? hes always with his popular friends so i dont know what to do!? why did he try to avoid talking to me!? why did he not want to be in my group!? im kinda sad because i thought he liked me but he tries to avoid me at the same time!.!.help please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well being a guy myself, I understand what the guy is going through if he likes you!. because I've done the same things, making reasons to walk by the girl and Just any reason to be around her but I didn't know what to say to her!. And finally one of my friends Just got me to walk up to her with him and we started talking about different things at first, ya know school, sports, and other stuff Just making small talk and then we started hanging out and having fun and we ended up dating!.
So like I said I know what you and him are going through Ive had a girl do the same thing!. so I mean I understand both sides of it and so Just start off taking it easy and Just work your way to making small talk and Just go with it!. but don't start off too strong because then it would Just make it awkward!. He is way to shy to talk to you in person:but obviously likes you!.
Why not take the initiative an talk to him about a book you both need to read for school!.See how he reacts to that:he might be relieved of his worries you turning him down

Most likely hes just a shy guy!. I have seen my friends do that but i stop them!. Just try talking to him and get him comfortable!. He could just be afraid of talking to girls!. It's pretty common for a guy to do that!. Try to start talking to him and saying hi and all and see what happens!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
is he normally shy around girls!? being a guy myself, and having the same problem i think i understand!. me and this girl have known each other for about 4 weeks now and she told me she likes me but doesnt want a boyfriend!. people keep trying to get me to go talk to her but idk what im supposed to say so i dont!. but then i get mad at myself later!. i bet he is kicking himself after every class cuz he wanted to say something but didnt know what to say!. he sounds a bit like am lol!. maybe u should break the ice and go talk to him!. try thinking of somethign to say and just go say it!. better then not talking to him and having nothing happen rite!? good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
