Question: How do you help somone who dosent want it!?
so me and my friend used to be really close but when we went to different high schools he found new friends and now he's drinking and I think he's into drugs and he insists he has it all under control and that he can stop but he can't what should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You really have hardly any choice in this matter!. I can see only two options, if you want to help him!. Talk to his parents and family and see if they would support an intervention!. If they would, then you need to have an intervention with a professional and make him get help!. The only other option is to just be there to help pick up the pieces when he falls hard, which he eventually will do!. If that gets to be too much, then you will have to leave him just to keep yourself mentally healthy!. Unfortunately, it is a free country and everyone has the right to live as they see fit!. so, in this case, your friend has the right to be miserable and there's nothing anyone can do about it without his permission!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
everyone thinks they have it all under control!. but the fact is, its always in control, leading to worst things, and bad result!. Its hard to help if he don;t want it, if you rat on him, he is going to hate you, but if you really care for hm, and his life, speak to his parents, that you are concerned of his behavior, and that you consider him your friend, and don;t want to see him ruin his life, and his family's life, then it out of your hands!. whatever he does, you will know in your heart , you did all you can do!. he should be honored to have a great friend as you!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can't help those who do not want help! He is going to have to help himself before you can help him!. He has to realize that he has some problems and has to decide to do something about it! Until he does, all you can really do is let him know that you are there and willing to help when and if he is ready!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
He is just 14, and in a very dangerous situation!.
You should tell his parents, or else send them an anonymous letter, something needs to be done or he will probably end up dead at a very early age!.
